LET IT UP AND LET IT OUT. It’s real. Look, if someone can’t handle your enthusiasm, or thinks you’re clingy…well, they just probably won’t — most people drink it up. And if they get all weirded out or guarded, don’t worry about it. Just because someone can’t handle extra love doesn’t mean that your love doesn’t get into them.
…and by that I mean…being “real” is attractive, compelling, shiny — respectable. That said, being you doesn’t mean EVERYONE will dig you — we all have different flavours and tastes. But it does mean that your tribe will be able to see you. And the people who are ready to have what you offer will hear you. And the universe will get a very clear signal about what makes you more…YOU. And it will deliver more YOU-affirming things into your life.
My favourite monks are the ones who sneak a smoke behind the commissary. “Don’t take it too seriously, Danielle.” I’m a vegetarian who LOVES bacon. Sometimes, some trash talk goes grrrreat with yoga. Lighten up. Live.

Capture an image of joy. Your version of it. Whatever trips the joy circuits in your psyche and body. Show us. Grab your iPhone and snap it now, or pull it from your Pinterest board, or reach into your archives. Post a joy visual, tag it with #DesireMap — and help us see with our hearts how to rise to life.
