True self love is to accept ALL parts of ourselves. Our neediness, delights, pains, talents… Light and shadows. ALL of us. Without criticism.
True self love steers us away from seeking signs from the Universe that we’re “worthy.” Self love is a remembrance of our Divinity. We are Love itself.
What an opportunity to know our strength and love! These powerful happenings are calling us to fill out all of our capacities as communitarians, humanitarians, caregivers, creatives, leaders, children, and beloveds of The Infinite.
When you get off of your own case, you tend to ease up on everyone else around you. Which makes you way more fun to be around.
I’ve been thinking a lot about transactional giving these days. I’ll tweet about you if you tweet about me. They owe me a favour. You listen for five minutes to them so they’ll listen when it’s your turn to talk. Even Stevens. Transactional giving can be a beautiful commerce of support, and there’s nothing inherently wrong with that interplay. But if all of our giving is to secure our getting…then, well, it’s gross.
It feels interminable. Like you’ll never get out. Like it’s never…going…to…end. That’s the nature of hell. It’s not the pain that drives you insane, it’s the fear that the pain could go on and on.
Lightwork can be a fight. If you think being on the “spiritual” side of progress guarantees you harmony, then either you haven’t been at it long enough or you’ve been playing it safe. Harmonizing, healing, serving, shining…it’s messy work. Beautiful. Worth it. But messy.
