We’ve all been there: something doesn’t feel quite right at the end of the meeting. Tense. It’s a little cranky, things are unclear. You want off the Zoom call. You want out of the room.

Mmm, mm. No. Don’t let meetings end with tension.

Acting like everything is okay is a form of insanity. Of course there are times to let things be heavy and gracefully back away.

But… more often than not the wise and Loving thing to do is to just name what’s going on.

Just be real (this requires courage). Say the really simple thing that will change everything. For everybody

NAME THE TENSION AND YOUR WISH TO GET THROUGH IT

It can be as simple as:
Things feel tense? How can we get them back on track?
This feels a bit awkward? How do we make it right?

This is the difference between gossip, projects going south, relationships ending, and things festering for months, sometimes years.

Things feel tense. How do we make it right?

Just a little moment of courage that could change it all.

All my Love to you,
