Speaking up. Truth telling. Saying “what’s there for you.”
These are all essential forms of healthy self expression, except that as a concept, “speaking your truth” has a kind of heavy vibe to it, doesn’t it? We often associate it with confrontation, really difficult conversations, saying something negative.
But what about the purely positive truths that make you shy to share? They’re so bright and electrically charged that you fear they might blind their receiver, or you’ll just look all gushy and soft and love foolish.
Dare to tell the true story of your gratitude.
Hey! I really want you.
I’m so grateful I could faint right here on the street.
I love you so much that I think you’re all I really think about even when I think about other things.
This job changed my life more than you’ll ever know. Thank you.
I want this more than I’ve ever wanted anything in my entire life.
I’m so fucking happy that you’re in my world.
If it weren’t for you I’d be in the psych’ ward. No, really.
I never knew this kind of friendship was possible.
You are one of the best things that has ever happened to me.
Be a light worker. Break out your love shine.
